Conversational AI Scheduling in Slack
The Synced Slack bot is now a conversational AI assistant. Just DM the bot or @mention it in any channel to schedule meetings, check availability, and manage your calendar through natural conversation. The bot checks real Google and Outlook calendar events for accurate free/busy data, recommends the best time slots with availability scores, and supports multi-turn conversations with follow-up questions.
Slack Bot Reliability Improvements
Meetings booked via Slack now use your account timezone instead of UTC, fixing incorrect meeting times for non-UTC users. Added rate limiting (5 commands/minute) to prevent accidental spam, increased the /meetings list from 5 to 10 results, capped AI response length to fit Slack's text limits, and fixed the /synced-connect link URL.
